Buckeye restoration/ Rust Belt Broncos are scammers and thieves! They took complete advantage of my elderly father who is bedridden and now is on hospice. He only dream was to see his 1973 Mach 1 mustang restored back to her original glory. Buckeye restoration stole that dream away from my father. He Gave them $40,897.74 on top of that they kept the mustang from 6/14/2019-9/15/2021. When I went to pick up the mustang Buckeye restoration broke the back axle so they dragged the mustang out with a forklift it was in pieces won’t turn over the only thing I see the did was drop the engine in and did some bad body work they put primer on but then left it outside in the rain for 2 days. I went to them begging and pleading for them to do right by my father and they wanted another $40,000 to finish and told me to have my father take them to court if He didn’t like it! Terrible experience. Unprofessional schlock operation from top to bottom. Poor quality, poor workmanship, poor value. They take your money then "camp" on jobs. For example, what should take 4 hours, they will spend 12-16 hours on, charging you labor all the while with the meter running, like a taxi cab. And even then, the quality is still awful. They must employ neophyte beginners with zero skills and experience. STAY AWAY. Took complete advantage of my father who is elderly and bed ridden. Charged him $40,897.74 to restore his 1973 Mach one mustang. It was supposed to be painted running and the interior done. They kept the mustang from 6/24/2019 until I pick up the mustang 9/15/2021 due to my father being on hospice. Not only was the mustang in a Undrivable state they broke the back axle none of the interior was done at all even with my dad sending all the interior parts $20,000 worth which I had to get a U-Haul to get because he ran out of money to fix the car. I wish I could upload photos to show what a horrible job they did it honestly looks like they did primer and that it not to mention they left it outside in primer when it was raining for 2 days and when I mentioned taking action on them if they didn’t right their wrong to my dad they told me to take them to court! Bad experience in my 70 chevelle over 52k for paint work and 3 years later found dust in the paint they painted over incorrect holes in the trunk and didn’t paint the bottom of car left in electroplated primer door gaps over 1/4 inch wrong and windshield installed leaks water In the car and the hood stripes painted on the car were totally wrong not factory correct in the hood
I had to threaten legal action they didn’t even offer to pay expenses to correct problems cited contract language I asked for receipts of all work I was ignored iBEWARE !! Not concourse quality work as advertised
Had a mustang there for sheet metal work 3 years and paid over 19k and doors don’t line up and quarter panels were installed 1/4 of an inch out of alignment a total waste of money all work had to be redone the contract for work is one sided not for the consumer that you sign only allows local mediation they don’t stand behind the work they do !
