We have sent two dogs through Marcum K9 board and train programs! We have had great results with both and it is well worth the investment and time. Leaving your dog with strangers for days at a time is scary but I trust them 100% and knew they were going to be well taken care of! Highly recommend!

Extremely displeased with the service I received regarding setting a consultation with them. The website mentions a free consultation but yet was asked to pay $50 beforehand to secure my spot for the day. There was a scheduling error twice on their part, I was then told they could see what they could about my appointment and hung up on me. One week later, still no response and they kept my $50..The day of my appointment had past with days of trying to contact them with no response. I have ultimately had to contact the BBB. Be careful with this company.

I cannot praise Marcum K9 enough. I brought my 6-month old puppy for 10-day board and train and the difference at home is amazing. Several weeks later, I brought my other dog who had already been trained, but developed other unwanted behaviors and just wanted him to have the same commands as my youngest pup. They turned around a stubborn, 5-yr old blue heeler in 8 days! Both dogs are more amazing than before and our walks are a breeze now that they are both understanding the same language.
Sometimes people just see $$ when it comes to training, but I can confidently say it is worth every single cent!

I did the 10 day board program and my dog learned a lot.she definitely came away from her 10 day stay and much better dog.

After bringing our dog, King, home it took a few days for him to come around but once he got comfortable he got REAL comfortable. It was very difficult to get him to listen to anything because he was trying to be dominant or he just could not contain his excitement/energy. For example, he would sometimes get so excited to go outside he would literally run to the door and then turn around and basically throw himself into the wall. It was chaotic.
Someone from my husbands job recommended Marcum K9 to us as one of his friends was telling him about the success he had from bringing his dog to Marcum. So we went online and researched the website & requested a call and discussed the process and the best plan for King. The person I spoke to was very transparent about the process and the way she was quickly able to identify a program for King and explained the process , it gave me confidence that these people knew what they were doing.
We got to meet our trainer, Chris, on day 1 drop off & he is incredible! Chris kept us up to date almost daily and sent photos and videos of the progress King was making & i was already very impressed by Day 3. King is back home now and the change in him most certainly stands out & I am still very impressed that this was able to be achieved in 15 days !!
