I currently have a kindergartener at SPJ (who was at the preschool last year), and I had an 8th grader last year, as well. The preschool teacher is wonderful with children and took my nervous little son who cried on the first week of preschool and turned his fears into enthusiasm to go to preschool; she is patient, kind, and caring and truly works magic with her students. My son is now a kindergartener, and the kindergarten teacher is exceptional. She runs a tight ship, one in which a tremendous amount of learning takes place while the students have fun. Her classroom is inviting and colorful, and the children in my son's class are very kind. My 8th grader last year was a transfer from another school, and the students in his class immediately welcomed him and helped him to feel at home. His teachers were wonderful, again, helping him to feel welcome, and showing him the ropes. They are all very highly skilled in their fields, and he currently has a 4.5 GPA at Central Catholic in his first semester, and I give TONS of credit to his SPJ 8th grade teachers for this - they prepared him very well for high school! My children have had nothing but positive experiences with SPJ and its teachers and students.

I currently have theee students attending SS Philip and James School (pre-school -5th grade) and have nothing but gratitude for the teachers, staff and students of SPJ. I am continually amazed at the attention each of my girls receive and the outstanding education experience that includes service to others. The teachers are a very valuable asset to the school and I'm thankful for everything they do for our students on a daily basis.

All three of my daughters attend SS. Philip and James. The teachers are outstanding, as are the staff and principal. Terrific learning environment, lots of extracurricular activities, family focused atmosphere - wouldn't want my children anywhere else!
