I placed a call with their corporate office yesterday on a price match and was extremely pleased with the outcome.
And this morning I received a request to provide feedback BUT no matter what I tried, the feedback won't transmit, so I thought I would provide it here.
It was my pleasure to have RoxAnne assist me, and I gave her five stars. And here is what I wrote about RoxAnne and tried to share back with Scheels corporate:
FIVE STARS
RoxAnne was friendly, attentive, intelligent (over the phone at least ;) ) and she took care of business without making me feel rushed. It was an enjoyable experience with a positive outcome, and Scheels seems to have the corner market on excellent staff!!!
Keep her and keep looking for more like her as they are some of your best ambassadors.

Unable to access on-line account, account password reset does not work, no link sent, customer service useless, generally shabby & lazy customer service in regard to computer support - no help.,
Store real nice, friendly sales staff, but avoid corporate customer service.

Saturday Aug 5. we shopped at the Missoula Scheel's store...what an absolutely extraordinary experience, thank you to R.Hersee, C.Cisneros and our cashier!!!

When you shop Scheels you are always greeted with a smile. The store is amazing, clean, well stocked and the personnel are very knowledgeable. My Dad has disabilities and often accompanies me because of the wide open space to shop and escalator and elevator that makes it easy to get around.

WILL NOT PRICE MATCH AS IS STORE POLICY - Called store at 4450 Destination Dr, The Colony, TX 75056, for specific firearm, Joe stated they had in stock and would price match, went to store showed salesperson a current ad with cheaper price for the same firearm that was instock, salesperson talked with manager, Jake Ox___, who refused to honor price match guarentee that Scheels so proudly advertises. Price was $50 higher and manager stated he didnt know how other store could get this low so he wasnt honoring their policy. Store staff has really went down in last few years, no idea of customer service and I want to know---how can manager just not honor store policy based on how he feels that day. Also wanted to make another purchase which store was out of stock, instead of making arrangements to get one in salesperson just said oh well!!! Very disappointed and Scheels owes me $50.
