My fiancé and I were in town visiting friends and family for the holiday. We took our close friends out to dinner for a New Years celebration Saturday night. The second we walked in the door we were greeted with wonderful service, great beverages, amazing food and an awesome atmosphere. Our table was ready as soon as we walked in. We were able to check our coats when we got to the table. We were offered pre meal cocktails while waiting on our friends. I got an amazing whiskey drink with a lime twist. It was delicious. We were given ample time to review the menu with instructions explaining the best way to order by putting all of our dishes in at once. I appreciate the instructions by the way, leaving things unspoken often leads to confusion and poor experiences. We ordered our meals with the wine pairing. Each dish came with a separate, well thought out pairing of wine. I was pleasantly surprised to find wines I would normally not order being poured. Regardless of my previous experience with the wine, I enjoyed every sip paired with my plate. Our server provided excellent service. The manager did a wonderful job explaining each wine and it's pairing. And the meal timing was perfect. We felt like we were eating at a five star back home in DC. We will come back next time we are in town.
