TLDR: The worst insurance experience I have had. I'm working on getting transferred to a new All State agent, but this whole experience makes me wish I would have just gone to a different insurance company. The quality of service, complexity, and general lack of any type of customer focus has made me completely sour on All State. I hope you're experience is better than mine but if this was my experience just trying to get help managing my policy, I can't imagine what it would be like if catastrophe actually happened. Full Review: I recently relocated to NC and was automatically assigned to this agency. Call #1. After some mistakes by the call center in transferring my policies, I called the Wolfe agency to get help as the transfers were still not done correctly and were dated for the future leaving one of my vehicles uninsured. I called and explained my situation and Marshall offered to give me a quote to add the vehicle to the policy. Started off pretty well I'd say. Call #2. The next day I received a call back from someone else in his office informing me that they could add the vehicle to the future policy (14-16 days out) but could not make changes to the current acting policy because it was from another state. That part was understandable. What wasn't understandable was why they continuously resisted the option to rewrite the upcoming policy to be current and active immediately so I would have coverage. The woman on the phone repeated that it would be hassle and continued to avoid that option through the conversation until I pressed for the 3rd time. At that point, she told me she would give me a call back later with those options. No more calls occurred, and the rest of the interaction was done through email until Mr. Wolfe stopped replying. On Feb 15th, I received an email asking for follow up on items to add the supposed vehicle to my policy and replied with the information I had available. I replied on Feb 16th to the central email system and cc'd Mr. Wolfe. On Feb 17th, I asked if he had an update on this change since I hadn't even thought we were moving forward since no one had called me back from the office. Marshall and I exchanged numerous emails on this day until he finally stopped replying after some clear frustrations from the both of us. The short of this story was that at every moment, Marshall wanted me to contact the agency who supported me before my move for help versus trying to help me correct my situation with the policy he was supporting. He made rude statements that were belittling to me and provided no path to actually helping me insure the vehicle I needed on my policy. Marshall also lied and said that I didn't want the policy that was future dated rewritten and when I gave him the facts from that call he completely ignored any future correspondence. He hasn't responded since February 17th which is probably good for both of us. I'm working on getting transferred to a new All State agent, but this whole experience makes me wish I would have just gone to a different insurance company. The quality of service, complexity, and general lack of any type of customer focus has made me completely sour on All State. I hope your experience is better than mine.
