I enjoyed my visit. I will admit the wait even after showing up early is a bit extensive. I notice they deal with alot of elderly people , so take that into consideration that may be why the wait is so long. I would recommend bringing your phone or a book to entertain you, no more than maybe 30 minutes pass your appointment and then wait in the back for some more time. It is well kept and clean in waiting area and bathrooms. (Bathroom has one toilet/sink) Front desk was fine and handled my checking in. I didn't feel any rude service so to speak. Wasn't like warm smiles but I didn't feel any rudeness from them like other reviews. The doctor was kind of in and our. Seriously in and out but I'm young I wasn't having any issues and I really went here for contact services ,but I kind of felt like that part was funny how quick it was vs how long I waited lol My favorite part was I did come back and see Edith "Eadie" the Contact Specialist Manager. This woman is remarkable. I've been wearing contacts for over 20 years and I have NEVER had someone be so thorough. She really knows her stuff and LISTENED to me and taught me things I didn't even know after all this time. That was the best service I've received since moving to North Carolina and im not exaggerating! I really appreciate her taking her time and explaining things and advocating for me . Bless her heart ! All the time spent was worth it after seeing her.

Lady upfront is super rude. The day of the appointment she told us they didnt take the insurance I was sure they did but she refused to call, paid cash. As I was waiting I called the insurance they said they did cover that doc, she refused to give us the money back and said the insurance would take 3 weeks to pay then they would refund the cash. 5 months later she still refuses a refund. I go in every month and she gives the same excuse with a smile in her face! Two step system.

Dr. Putman and his staff are wonderful! I go to the Wilson office and wait time has never been more than 15 minutes. The receptionists are very nice and the other staff are very accommodating to my husband and 90 year old mother who are both handicapped.
