SME, Inc. USA Superior Medical Equipment

Sent me a bill with no information on it. I called to inquire about what Im being billed for. They pumped me for personal information, refused to tell me what the bill is for (or even date of service), and then hung up abruptly. This sure sounds like a scam billing operation from my experience. Response: In response to the company's claim that I would not assist in confirming my identity, I can only say - nonsense. I gave my name, address, invoice number, bill number, etc. I was unwilling to provide my DOB and SSN. I'll repeat - I'd avoid this operation and be cautious if they send you any correspondence (unsolicited, as in my case).

SME is listed as in Network with my insurance. Spoke with billing office about upcoming knee replacement post op supplies. Girl I spoke with would not listen to my question about whether or not equipment would arrive in time of my surgery or not. Kept telling me that they had to have drs orders before sending. I told her I knew that, Dr has told me to find out where I can get equipment and he will send orders. All I needed to know was whether or not Id receive equipment in the time frame needed and she kept telling me they couldnt send without orders. She then hung up on me. Very rude for customer service.

Our busy Physical Therapy office had ordered a Massage Gun from SME and, through no fault of SME, the massage gun would not hold a charge. I contacted their help desk and Zachery helped me get set up with a new Massage Gun and a return label for the broken massage gun. I am so pleased with how quickly and effortlessly this was resolved so we can get back to helping our patients feel better. Thank you Zachery!

Price gouging, overpriced, outrageous are the synonyms for this company's business practice. Wish the Doctor's offices don't use this company for your medical needs.

This company is rude and unprofessional they refuse to work with patients on billing issues and would not wait for insurance before sending to collections for an 18 yr old. Do not use this company if you want to treat your patients with dignity
