If you can't afford 500 gallons of propane every single year, they charge you a rental fee of $120. When I called about it, they informed me that I was supposed to hash it out with my landlord. Also, they will take FOREVER to bring your propane out and not to mention it's hard to understand customer service representatives on the phone.

My customer has been requesting propane for 3 days. She was initially told it would be an additional fee ($300 I think) to go same day. She states she has been a long standing customer. They said theyd wave fee and be there within 24 hrs. They did not go. Then she went to the Whiteville office, they are closed but she was able to speak with someone who states her delivery request is pending. They didnt know why it had that status.Pipes may freeze tonight due to this. I tried to help her by calling. You get a person who states they are out of Ohio. I tried to convey concern, and after 40 min of jumping through the hoops to get to them, getting someone on phone, it was conveniently disconnected when I complained. Save yourself. Dont use a company that doesnt do what they say and doesnt have a way to easily reach them. Freezing rain and ice coming tonight.

SOME OF THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. HELD ON THE PHONE FOR 36 MINUTES. Then I was connected to a lady in Ohio that spoke very poor english. I asked to speak with another customer service rep and was not allowed to. After 52 minutes on the phone with no satisfaction I closed my account and called another gas company. Amerigas bought out another local company that gave EXCELLANT CUSTOMER SERVICE for years. The local service rep with Amerigas is a good man but don't waste your time calling Amerigas unless you have nothing else to do.
