Stoopidest place on earth. It's closed 2:00 p.m. on a Saturday, note on door says staff is stocking. I've only been to a DG three other times in my life. Will never go again. How this place a US corporation? How is it in business?

I go here a lot the employees are never there to check out customers always have a line because they dont want to run their register they make everybody use self checkout unless its a friend of theirs. Just left the store one was behind the register sitting down the other was standing and talking to the employee on the floor sitting. I dont believe its good business operations considering if someone wanted to steal they could easily because employees wont do their jobs.

Tried to go shopping at 6 pm on a Saturday and they were closing due to being short staffed. This is because the Dollar General corporation does not want to pay their workers a decent wage. Nobody is going to work for $7.25 anymore when they can go anywhere else and make $12+ as a cashier. Also nobody is going to do 2 jobs for the price of 1. DG wants you to cashier AND stock for 1 wage and that is minimum wage. They are losing MORE money closing early all because they don't want to pay their workers what they are worth. It is sad. A lot of people want to blame their workers. The workers aren't at their registers to check out customers because they aren't allowed to be. They have to be stocking. It's not the workers fault. It's the corporations fault with their unrealistic expectations and rules and they don't want to pay their employees. Start placing the blame where it belongs.
