FastMed Urgent Care

I have had 2 very poor experiences at the Wake Forest FastMed and will not be returning. I highly recommend another clinic especially if you are actually sick (VS needing a regular physical) or have small children. 2 days after my visit I ended up going to Granville ER for better care. The doctor is in too much of a hurry to do through exam's and has no patience for young sick children. My son got scared and did not open his mouth to get his throat checked but she still said "ok, throat looks great." I got the feeling she believed we just wanted a doctors excuse for the day rather than real advice. Unfortunately we will be paying bills for wasted office visits.

My doctor visit was unsatisfying.. the doctor lack empathy towards my circumstances. He was distance. Didn't introduce himself, and standoffish.. as if he didn't want to touch me. I was in a car accident where both vehicles were totaled. He did no type of physical exam. However the staff was friendly..

Not sure why I keep coming just to be disappointed but after this visit this is it ! I only come because I don’t have a PCM doctor and because they are called “fast med “ it’s a lot simpler to come here than scheduling an appointment with a doc , but they are ridiculously SLOW and I will NEVER return !

The staff here was SO professional and friendly. They got me in quickly and everyone was so kind. When you’re not feeling well, it sure helps when people are understanding and kind! I highly recommend going here! ❤️
