Medical Specialties is a great company to work for. As an employee I feel safe coming to work every day in a clean, air-conditioned environment. The owners are great people who treat you with the up-most respect. Working here is a fast-paced job and the expectations placed upon you are made clear from the beginning. I will forever be grateful to be able to call Medical Specialties my place of employment.

I am legally blind I was moved from one job to another and was only given 2 days to learn how to run 2 sewing machines at once. I never used a sewing machine before let alone 2 at the sametime. I asked maintenance for a brighter light so that I could see better and was told they only had the small led lights. The owner rick never even asked if I was capable of doing the job he said “oh, you look like your “able bodied”. (Whatever that meant)I suppose because he thought I was younger in age which (I am not).Some disabilities are not seen. I did however fill out the form at medical specialties when I first started stating I had a disability. So I will be Pursuing a lawsuit with the EEOC for unlawful termination with no accommodation for persons with disabilities act. For the employees that do have to work there and depend on that job I really do feel bad for them. They try so hard to get the approval of the owner Rick and he just over looks them and never gives raises. The amount of work and expectations that rick has you would think he would at least pay his employees more instead he rides around in his new Audi having lunch with friends while his employees try to make a living off of 9.10!!!
