Great pizza, great service. Nice clean place, friendly staff. Local favorite! Update: we like to visit weekly. If you're looking for authentic and delicious Italian, you have to try this place. The puttanesca is to die for, shrimp taverna is delicious. If nothing else, the homemade desserts are a must have. I haven't had a true sgfoiatell since we left Utica. Absolutely devine. And pistachio cake.... and grandma's cake,..... Highly recommend.

We stopped in here for a quick lunch. The cheesesteak sandwiches were great and reasonably priced. The homemade potato chips were good too. They couldve been a little more crunchy but they were still very tasty.

After searching the area for authentic italian food, we found our gem at Vesuvio's last night. The food was tasty and seasoned perfectly. They have an extensive menu from appetizers, dinner meals with specials, lunch, subs and pizza. We enjoyed the amazing dinner entrees, appetizers, salad and dessert. The Calamari was perfectly cooked which is a rare find at other places. We enjoyed it all. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The portions and selections reminded me of years ago on Sundays at my italian Grandmother's who cooked the same way with family and great food. Vesuvio's keep doing what you are doing, you knocked it out of the ballpark. We will be back over and over and spread the word that an amazing authentic italian restaurant has been found in the area. Thank you for an enjoyable and delightful meal!
