My husband and I ate here one afternoon after church. The food is Mediterranean style with an emphasis on lemon, olive oil, and fresh vegetables. The side salad is the most unique and tasty that I've ever had....fresh greens and vegetables with a Mediterranean dressing. My husband had the pita with lamb and said it was wonderful. I had a pita with beef and taste was great. I will say as an advisement that what they call a "pita" is more of a tortilla....so a wrap sandwich. Absolutely get the side salad.
They also have a wide variety of cheesecake and fresh baked goods....including baklava which was not the typical honey based baklava....but was sweet and simple.
The staff was kind and helpful. They were quick about getting food to you, patient with us while we made choices and figured out the menu, and were knowledgeable to explain items on the menu.
The seating area in the restaurant is nice and comfortable. Pricing was good. We spent there: 2 pitas, 2 side salads, 2 drinks (green tea), and a large assortment box of baklava for approximately $25-30....which is about the same we would normally spend at say an Applebees,etc..
Overall this restaurant is wonderful! Great food with a different taste that will have you coming back for more. As well, located in Steven's Mill off of Lawyers Rd near 485 makes is accessible to Matthews/Mint Hill/Monroe/and the more rural areas of Union County.
