I went in for the free FMS test with Isbella. I ended up signing up for a personal training contract without her actually going over the full terms. Isbella made it seem like it was easy to cancel the contract and stop payments. The contract is digital and they do not provide you a copy prior to signing. She glazed over the details even though I told her I was only in NC for another 3 months.
I read the contract once I got home, the contract sessions are locked in and the term is a year. This is not an easy contract to break. There is a clause you can cancel in writing within 3 days of the contract with a postmarked letter and receive a refund and cancel the contract. I signed the contract 10 September, mailed a cancellation letter 11 September. It is now 21 September and my contract has still not been cancelled and no refund. I have contacted Peak Payment Solutions multiple times without a response. The gym employee was rude when I went in to confirm cancellation.

I’ve been coming to this gym and taking advantage of the personal training program. I got matched with Kerry and she has been doing a great job! Since February I have gone from 86 lbs to a stronger and healthier 95. Kerry deserves extra praise because she was able to sympathize with my struggle of gaining weight which is not as common of a struggle for most gym-goers. Also noting that when the desk employees aren’t there, Kerry helps a lot of people in the gym even though that’s not her job- I’m pretty sure people are starting to think she’s the manager. The desk employees are always kind, but my only complaint is that I do think the glass tables could use some windex. They always look dirty and I hesitate to put anything on them.
