The food is real good and the service is wonderful friends people best food in Sanford . The food is at reasonable priced . Go eat here and you will really injoy you Good and time here and o yes the 🍣 is real good freshly made to order.

Wish I could give this zero stars not only is the food awful now the service was terrible. The soup was like straight olive oil with gray specs that look like dust floating in it. We had to ask for rice and sauce. The sauce tasted like mayo and the rice smelt like dog food. The worst part is the shrimp they served my son was rotten. After I paid I wanted to let the waitress know about the shrimp so that way they are aware and it doesn't make everyone sick. It had a strong oder and it made my tounge numb and tasted of rotten fish and strong chemicals. When I told her that I wanted to let them something was wrong with the shrimp she instantly cut me off and said no no it's not they just got their shipment yesterday so it not. I said I don't care about the bill I just wanted to to let you know so everyone doesn't get sick she proceeded to argue with me. It wasn't until the other tables started looking our way that she came over agressively and snatched the plate to say she needed to take it to the cook. They never apologized or showed any concern instead they threw the food out and ignored it.
Please do not go here. It used to be one of our favorite places to visit but it has gone down hill horribly.

Very disappointed tonight when I took my family to eat at Yamtoes.
The kind waitress was excellent and should not have been put in the position that she was.
We walked in as normal, there were no signs posted, we sat down. When we went to order our food ( a family of 6) I asked my children if they wanted soup or salad.
To our surprise we were told that neither soup nor salad were included with our combination plates any more, but that we could order them separately.
Mind you there is no price difference in the combination plate itself! I was SHOCKED to say the least. Our waitress kindly pointed out that our menu reflected the "change".
Sure enough there was White Out over that part!
Please understand, to take a family of 6 out to eat it's never a cheap endeavor, but for this night we were treating our family to Yamatoes, like several we have done for many years. It's never cheap but it was doable BEFORE.
We did not opt to buy each person separately a soup or salad as that would add another 10$ to our bill.
Our food came out and as our plates are being set in front of us, we see that none of our steaks were cut up. The waitress saw that we were confused and expressed her apologies that she hadn't mentioned this "change" before. I asked why our steaks weren't cut up though the chicken was (4 of our 6 are kids).
We were told that the cook gets upset when there are such requests!!!
I spoke to the manager/owner as we were leaving who was not phased a bit to have a dissatisfied customer.
This is a place we have loved for years, I'm very sad to say we will not be back :(

Service is great but sushi was not fresh and no flavor. A bottle of soy sauce would have been cheaper.
