We were excited to find a local company to service our Atlas Copco oil free air compressor. They said they would be less expensive and easier to work with than working with Atlas Copco directly. I've learned this was a big mistake. Our first problem was a blown capacitor. Rolesville Equipment made the fix and billed us $1100. Seemed high for such repair but it was a little cheaper than Atlas Copco's quote. A few weeks later, same problem and same fix. This time we got a bill for $400. Now the fix is costing more than working with Atlas Copco. A few weeks later it happens for a third time. This time the technician says the motor (which was working perfectly before this whole thing started) is now blown and needs to be rebuilt. This is the point where they started trying to sell me a brand new air compressor for about $500 more than I could find it online for. In the end I'm out almost $2000 and I have an air compressor with more problems than when I started.
