If your experience was THIS bad... is there a reason you decided to post on social media instead of asking to speak to the "ignorant chef"? Also I would love to get your culinary credentials that somehow allow you to critique food. The simple plain fact of the matter is that the tomatoes Are Marinated with fresh garlic, herbs and fine dice onion over night. The sweet corn IS NOT caned, and it is a hybrid blend of a variety called kandy corn and silver queen blend. I would have thought with your elivated Palate you would have been able to pick that out. Also there is a country saying that gose something alone the line of "there is more than one way to skin a cat".. I think the same goes for more than one way to fry a potato. As far as a 35 min wait.....have you never been to a cracker barrel on a Sunday? You will wait 45 mins to get a table let alone your food. And I was also unaware that there was is a biscuit topping police. These are excellent things to learn this far in my career, so much appreciated, I will definitely school myself on the "laws" of biscuit toppings. Although this is not my normal customer service response to a simple complaint...this is also not a simple complaint. This is uneducated critical critique, that could simply have been handled inside the resteraunt. I dont like to see people leave unhappy. And will bend over backwards to try and accommodate our wonderful community and customers, how ever when you work as hard as we do to make things from SCRATCH and cook the right way.. and train... try and buy a higher quality of food and take a loss sometimes to keep that quality up, it just triggers alittle when we welcome each person to tell us if they have issues or needs to make there experience great, yet we people won't complain to us they would rather hide behind a review and pretend to have the qualifications to slam a business like this. What people don't realize when they write horrible reviews instead of talking to management is that you are hurting the jobs or the 17 year old that is working 2 jobs to get into collage. The single mom of 5 that depends on her tips to feed her kid. The single mother that is pulling 2 FULL time jobs to pay for her son's sports, the gaggle of teenagers that if they are working they are keeping them self out of trouble. THATS WHO hurts from reviews like this. So if u have issues with something complain to management, don't effect the jobs of good working people just trying to get by. Also when is the next "proper way to make fried potato class" I would like to sign up!
