I would STRONGLY recommend you find a more reputable, professional, experienced and caring realtor in the triangle. Not clearly understanding the real estate process, we signed Kalyn Scott/Ringwold on as our buying realtor AFTER we already signed a contract for a new construction, due to her advising we needed a realtor. From the very beginning she mislead up. In a 9 month period, Not once did she visit the site with us, nor was she proactive in leading us in the process. We received many emails from the onsite agent advising us the next steps. We were 3 days from closing and not once did Kalyn advise us to get an inspector. When we advised her that we were filing a complaint on her, within the hour (1 week before closing) she finally went to the site and tried to gather alot of information to protect herself. After this she would not receive our calls nor reach out and call us. She emailed us our closing Alta 3 days before closing and we had to review it on our own. We admit we were truly naive but asked repetively for her to lead us, and not once did she step up. We were one of the lucky ones since we had other realtor friends to advise us. Please dont make the same mistake we did. She has a good talk, but in comparison to the other realtors in the triangle she does not measure up. Her website is full of good sounding talk. Although this process was VERY stressful and took away from our family (since we had to do all the work), we were able to learn that although someone sells homes, does not mean they are a good realtor. Please save yourself the heartache and dissapointment of working with Kalyn. She tried to get us to sign her on as our selling realtor but thank God we found someone much better. Most of her homes sit on the market for a while. Ask her to show you her previous buying and selling records to see for yourself her qualifications, then interview atleast 3 more realtors to see that she truly does not compare. I wish you the best in your home buying or selling experience.
