Tara is an incredibly talented photographer who loves what she does. We have done several photo sessions with her and the images she's captured of our family are treasures. She manages to grab our dogs at their happiest, silliest moments so their true personalities shine through. She is also incredibly compassionate. Last summer, when we were certain we wouldn't have much more time with one of our dogs, she made time in her schedule to come to our home and get those last precious pictures. I was especially thankful for this, as I knew she was going through the loss of her own dog. If you want someone who will capture your family in a beautiful way, go with Tara.

We had a wonderful experience with Tara for our newborn photo shoot. We met Tara through her volunteer work with Triangle Beagle Rescue, and knew she had a few children of her own, so when our daughter was born I knew that I wanted to ask her to do our newborn photos because we have two dogs that are a handful, on top of the new baby! Tara made us feel very comfortable during the photo shoot and was wonderful at getting poses and pictures that captured our family's essence. And, bonus, she was great at soothing our little one! We would recommend Tara to any family looking for photography of both human and fur members alike.

We ABSOLUTELY loved working with Tara through this process. I have followed her on social media for years and just knew she was the right person to have document these special memories for us. During our initial phone call she spent a good 30 minutes getting to know the story behind the blue jeans brothers and even brought up some ideas about incorporating denim into the photo shoot (which led to me customizing some denim bandanas for the boys to wear). She had a couple of suggestions for locations and even checked out the Azalea Gardens a few days before to make sure the grounds were in good shape. The early evening shoot provided the absolute perfect backdrop, it truly was the golden hour for a couple of silly, lovable Goldens. Tara was fantastic in finding ways to get great shots of both lovable Levi and rotten Wrangler (even though he was determined to not pay attention to the camera no matter what tricks or treats she had up her sleeve). And then, the email came with the links to the finished photos.. I was overcome with emotions seeing how absolutely PERFECT they turned out. As I scrolled from one image to the next it became clear that there was no way I could ever pick a favorite. She managed to capture their personalities perfectly. And Im so glad that I took her encouragement to be in some of the photos as she truly captured the lovely bond we have. Ive showed the photos to so many friends and family and everytime I find myself beaming at how they turned out! Highly recommend Tara for capturing special memories of you and your fur kids.
