Cannot figure out how American Home Patient stays in business, other than they may be grossly over-billing insurers and Medicare. It’s now been 3 months since placing an initial order and they have yet to complete it. Their CS reps have been nice and seem well-intentioned, but the shipments either have not made it out without calling repeatedly, were the incorrect item and had to be returned, or were incomplete. Just guessing but their IT is substandard, and their warehouse people lack good procedures and supervision. It is a real challenge dealing with them.

Very poor customer service. I sent several emails to my rep requesting a phone call but received no response. I changed companies.

We were very pleased with the professional assistance that we received from Amanda and Jennifer. They took care of our VPAP needs and were excellent at their job. These two made us feel welcome at this store as they worked on our medical equipment/supplies. We will continue to go here for all of our medical supply needs. Many thanks for your kind assistance!

This has been one of the worst professional organizations I have worked with in my life time. They have falsely attempted to bill be and my insurance company. I am active duty military and have served 24 years with 4 combat tours and headed to my 5th combat tour this summer. With that said, Tricare provides my insurance coverage in which is paid for through tax payers dollars. This organization is finding away to make money off the government with false claims and their management refuses to address my issue. The Raleigh Branch of American Home Patients have failed to do what they were suppose to and in an attempt to cover it up, they are billing me and Tricare. I have contacted the patient advocacy line and they take my information and never calls back. If I call the Raleigh office it goes straight to their Georgia branch. The worst ever!

This company is a nightmare to deal with - do whatever you can NOT to use this company! 1) They sent my grandfather a bill in the mail before they sent the bill to his secondary insurance. 2) They told me they would call me to schedule an appointment to pick up the oxygen he was no longer using - they never did. They said that no one saw the notes where I asked them to call my number. 3) They just showed up unexpectedly at my grandfather's place to pick up the oxygen when no one family was there to show them where everything was - so they didn't pick up all of the oxygen. 4) I scheduled an appointment in the morning at 10 AM for them to pick up the rest of the oxygen. After waiting 30 minutes I called to confirm they were still coming by, and they stated that no one was told there was an appointment.
