Brinks Home Security is the worest service ever , two months waitin on there technition to show up and never showed up , they want me to fix the problem by phome , i called more than 6 times they get me on gold for hours and just waisting my time , just had brake in and lost more than $6000 . I'm a car dealer in Raleigh NC , don't be cheap and use this people .

Service was OK when you are in the contract. When you called to cancel after the 36 month contract the company became fraudulent and cheating. I understand there gotta be a 30 day notice so I called way ahead of time like 2 months before the contract end date. I was told they are unable to schedule a cancelation to take effect 2 months from now. Multiple agents told me once the cancelation process is started, it would end my monitoring any time by the system but I still have to pay all the remaining bills. They suggested me to call a week before the contract end date and I will not be charged beyond the 36 month period. So when made the final call a week before the end date, then new episodes came up. I had to wait 24 to 48 hours for a docusign email. If I don't receive the email, I have to call back. I did receive the email a day after and signed it. Then I was told to wait for their service representative to reach out to me to finalize the cancelation. After a couple of days have received multiple calls trying to confirm if my intent to cancel is firm and if a rate drop can make me change my mind. Finally they gave up and then told it would take 30 days to process the cancelation. I ended up paying a 37th bill. They purposely misled customers and made the cancelation process extremely difficult and prolonged and forcing the customers to pay more bills beyond the contract period. I had a cancelation experience before with ADT and it was 100 times more smooth and straightforward. Everybody needs to think twice maybe thrice before you order a service from them. Horrible company.
