I would not suggest paying Mr. Durham a dime. If you have a case that can be delayed for over a year and then possibly be settled you would be fine, but if you have a case that requires his attention and participation you are going to just throw any money you pay him into an empty pit. Probably a good court appointed lawyer, but not a lawyer for hire
Save your money and represent yourself. The outcome most likely will not be any different.
Additional information from another lawyer indicates that Mr. Durham has a long history of taking peoples money and not assisting them as he was hired to do.
