I didn't end up moving to The Avenues due to a job transfer but my experience with the staff was great! Had I stayed in the area I would have happily chosen to live there. The amenities and friendliness sold me!

Called in for a one bedroom and a detached garage, I was told by an agent the detached garages are $300, and I called back the same day later to confirm the rent and parking again, and another agent told me $200 for the parking! Sketchy experience, so I did not even would want to deal with! Now those 1 star reviews mean something to me!

Be prepared to have random amounts of money thrown on your credit with ZERO explanation when you move out. The communication is a hot mess at this place. No responses from the property manager, the leasing agents aren’t the brightest either. They will keep your deposit and say you had carpet damage or something of that sort,, so be cautious! I was told I would receive my deposit back of $1,400, but instead I received nothing back and I also got $550 thrown onto my credit with NO damages that I knew of in my unit. But Hey, if you have an extra $2k to GIVE AWAY Just to live here then by all means sign the lease! Be sure to have a paper trial while living here because there will be plenty of broken promises. The apartments are decent, I had noise issues with the people above me, but I GUESS that’s normal in a place that is poorly built.

I was very disappointed in my move in. In December I signed my lease for my move in date Jan-19th 2019. When I moved in the paint was coming off in my garden tub with multiple black marks , my cabinets were stained, my blinds had red sauce on them, and my fridge was not cleaned well. I called the office regarding the issue and the first answer the manager said was “we can close your lease if you wantâ€, which was very rude all I needed was a solution to my problem and she was ready to not deal with it and end my lease after I paid the prorated rent and deposit almost $2000 in total. They finally said a cleaning lady will come Sunday 1-20-19 morning and she never did until Wednesday, also they made a appointment to get my tub resurficed for Wednesday which resulted in me not being able to take a shower for an additional 48hours in my apartment. The management here said nothing was wrong with my tub when my paint was stripping off and the painter even said my paint was gone at the bottom Of the tub. Since I couldn’t shower in the apartment until the paint job was completed I had to get up early everyday and drive to my mothers house to take a shower and go to work which is a huge inconvenience. They denied deducting my next rent which is wrong because I couldn’t fully live in the apartment until my tub was completed which was about a total of 8 days I couldn’t shower in my apartment. I wish I had a better experience and better solution regarding my situation, no one should have to go through this at a luxury apartment.
