Stay away from this place they are not friendly with LGBTQ lifestyle. Allison, Amanda and Wendy lead you on to believe that they are and encourage you to apply and then after you pay them the $50 per applican fee, they deny you automatically because of one repossession that was from 2018 and has since been zeroed out balance, and did not look at any other credit scores even though theyre close to 700 and an income combined of $180,000 per year all they wanted was the $100 total application fee to slap you in the face and tell you theyre denying your application they are totally racist at this location

If you are LGBTQ good luck. They refused to rent to my husband and I. They never bothered to verify my income which is well over 100k. Or verify my employment. I am a nurse manager. We cannot have a criminal history or use drugs. Thankfully my company has already filed complaints with several NC government entities and hopefully this will send a message to these hateful biased monsters.

Warning to potential renters: The buildings here are in terrible shape, infested with pests, and have really bad management. At first, they might act all nice and welcoming to trick you into signing the lease, but don't be fooled! Before long, you'll be dealing with discolored water coming out of the kitchen faucet, floors crawling with creepy cockroaches, bathrooms covered in gross fungus, pests sneaking out of cracks in the walls, and a management team that couldn't care less about your concerns. They will hold you responsible for covering the expenses of all their repairs. The only slightly positive thing about this place is its beautiful location, but be prepared for a lot of other issues.

Steer clear of this place! Yeah, at first glance, the price might look tempting, but trust me, they'll sneak in all these crazy charges while you're there and then stick you with unnecessary fees when you try to move out. I've been around the block, rented four different places in the last seven years, and never once had to pay for any damages. But guess what? Woodlake Downs hit me with a massive bill. And let me tell you, the buildings there are straight-up ancient and falling apart. They don't lift a finger to fix anything, but you can bet your bottom dollar they'll make you foot the repair costs. And don't even get me started on the managementrude, unresponsive, and their sole focus is squeezing every cent they can out of you. No joke, this place takes the cake for being the absolute worst I've ever called home. Oh, and get this: they bribe tenants with gift vouchers and all sorts of goodies just to get positive reviews. Makes you wonder if any of those rave reviews are even legit, right? Seriously, do yourself a favor and run the other way!
