This place is awful since Megan left. My fiancé and baby girl live there. And not only is there consistent problems with water, plumbing and insulation, they have 5 visitors parking spaces for the whole complex and they start towing at 6pm. Unlimited Recovery will also go thru your car and when you call they don’t tell you anything. Lofts at Strickland Glen is far too overpriced for the amenities and things included in your rent. Maintenance is mediocre to say the least. So if you are able, I would definitely say to look elsewhere when it comes to the renting here. I will be moving my family out of there the moment the lease is up. PS. There are bug issues in the warmer months as well.

In a recent work visit to this property I was working for a client. I parked at the property which was gated and allowed to come in and park per access of the client. Within an hour at the client's house to go in to assist with service and upon coming out my car was towed. Note the property has visitors and it was a several vehicles that did not have permits or etc. However my car was not illegally parked, it was stated that they patrol the gated community and yet out of all the other vehicles that was unmarked, no permit or etc my car was towed. Unfortunately if there is a matter like this at the complex and it should have reserved parking and or this property should advise better. Random people can just call and have your car towed.

I have been a resident at The Lofts at Strickland since 2015, as I have seen management changes, Megan has been a jewel to the community. She is always pleasant, always willing to make sure the residents are happy and satisfied in our homes. I do hope she continues to be here on the property for a while 😊

The new property manager is very rude and has attitude whenever you call the office. I would not move here if I could help it .

*UPDATE January 2021* I moved to a bigger apartment here and here are a few things. The draft on the 3 bedroom/3 bath lofts are absolutely ridiculous. It seems it never truly gets warm throughout the whole unit. The caulking and insulation in this unit has been subpar to say the least. To pay rent of over $1600 per month and to also have over the top electric bills is absolutely insane. I expected a higher electric bill, but not to be paying more than double my bill from the previous apartment in the same complex. Next is parking, I have had 2 guests in my home who have gotten their cars towed in the same month. From my understanding the towing starts at 11pm but recently my guests were leaving at 10:15pm and heard their car alarm going off. We quickly rushed outside and saw their car being towed. I, of course feeling absolutely terrible paid the $150 to have the car released. Apparently they will tow now anytime after 6pm. For the amount of rent we pay, I think that’s absolutely horrendous. Not to mention the disheveled, dirty, non-mask wearing meth addicted looking tow driver broke in their front door, and asked for a VIN number. Excuse me?? In these covid times I think not sir. I will be contacting the police for the next steps because that is breaking and entering. There are literally 6 visitor spots in the whole complex. I see countless vehicles parked daily with no stickers and never see them getting towed. To have such a big apartment complex and only have 6 visitor parking spots is absolutely asinine. My biggest issue with this place is parking. You cannot come home after 8pm and expect to park near your home. And apparently now you cannot have visitors after 6 without the risk of them getting towed. I absolutely wish they had assigned parking. Needless to say this has completely soured my experience living here and I will not be renewing my lease. I am currently a resident and I can definitely attest that parking can be difficult and frustrating. My experiences haven’t been that bad because its only myself and a older child, and I have one vehicle and there is usually at least one open parking spot within walking distance if I come home later than usual. The apartment however, does not disappoint even the classic non upgraded version is very nice and clean. (Spiral staircase for the win!!) I did have an unpleasant run in with my downstairs neighbor on my actual moving day. While I was moving furniture in and they started banging on the ceiling. Again, I was literally moving furniture in so that was a bit ridiculous to me. I have older wood floors in my apartment so maybe that attributed to it. I informed the rental office the next day and was ready to cancel everything but I was assured they would handle it and I’ve had no issues since then. Everyone else has been super friendly and accommodating. There is also a strict noise ordinance from 10pm-8am at the community so beware of that. Apparently multiple people are complaining about noise. I hear dogs barking and people enjoying their patios and such but it doesn’t bother me because it’s not an excessive unheard of noise. You are going to have noise at most apartment complexes and if you are one of those complaining people, I say to you.. get a friggin house 😉. All in all, my experience has been great besides some minor issues so far. I’m very happy with my decision to move here.
