A month and a half ago, Jason came to my home and gave me an estimate to take down quite a few trees. He was enthusiastic and personable, and I was excited to have someone so knowledgeable give me such a fair price. He was supposed to email me invoice to detail what he would do, but I never received it. I figured it was no big deal, and that I would get an invoice when he came to do the work three weeks later, as was our agreed-upon time frame due to his already busy schedule. The beginning of November came and went, and after several voice messages and text messages, Jason still hasn't returned my calls, even to let me know whether he would still be able to do the job or not. This is totally unprofessional and extremely disappointing. I would not recommend him. I'm now going to have to search for someone else.

Like the other reviewer here, Jason Kashmer never followed up on his enthusiastic claim to do the job I needed done. First, I called his number based on a Facebook recommendation, but didn't leave a message because the recording didn't even have his voice, or say whose number it was, or if it was a business. He called back the next day anyway to find out who called. I told him about the small job I needed done to take done a large, broken pine limb; he said he would be out at a certain time that day to look at it and give me an estimate. He didn't show. He called 2 hours later apologizing like crazy that a job had taken longer than he'd thought; could he come over now? So he came over. He looked at the job, told me he could do it, suggested taking down a couple of other limbs, all good. He gave me an estimate that was fine with me and seemed sincerely interested in doing the work. He said he might be able to do it the next day, but he would have to go home and look at his planner. Fine. He said he would call back that same night to let me know when we could schedule the work. I said he could call the next morning, but he said no, he'd definitely call that night.He did not call that night. He did not call the next morning. By the afternoon, I called and left him a message asking if he was still interested in the job. Never heard back. He didn't even had the professional courtesy to return my call and tell me he'd changed his mind about the work. I find this very unprofessional. If someone doesn't want my money, why act like they do? If you don't want the work, you won't hurt my feelings. Just tell me so I can move on.I ended up using PRECISION TREE SERVICE and they were excellent: gave me an estimate lower than Jason Kashmer's and did the work when they said they would. I highly recommend them.

I scheduled a quote but Kashmer was a no-show. They didn't even bother to call or text to cancel the appointment. Instead, they just left us waiting around the house anticipating their arrival. Such a disappointment. I would recommend Mac's Tree Service. Of the four companies I called for quotes, Mac's was the only one that actually showed up and provided a quote.In response the business' comment below...  They are being a bit misleading. They didn't contact us the day of the appointment to tell us about their sick dog. They didn't respond until 36 hours after they missed the appointment. I get that shit happens and I love my dog too. However, a simple text or phone call seems like it would be on the realm of possibility when the emergency is a sick pet.  Either way, I took a vacation day for nothing and sat around hoping this guy would show up.  Based on the comment below, it appears customers are expected to contact the business and remind them of the companies appointments. Am I supposed to trim the trees for them too?  See what you're dealing with? Bush league.
