The staff at Locklear & Son Funeral Home were very friendly and helpful during the loss of my father.

I was so disappointed with the lady in general that is over Locklear & Son's Funeral Services!!!!! It was with my granny's burial in Sept of 2017. The lady rushed us with everything, especially when the family was leaving out viewing the body. Our cousin's wife is a Native from S.D and they do a blanket ceremony and it was like she had a problem with us doing that and was making crazy mean faces at her young Male employee right in front of us. They were not professional at all. I'm so hurt and disappointed!!! My grandmother and I loved Mr Sam and we always done business with him but this place is and will NEVER BE THE SAME!!! New management would be the best for his business because he wouldn't have liked the way we were treated if he were still here... So please everyone if you use them go over every detail and what you plan to do because even at the grave site she was so nasty and rude. grandmother grandmother

If it were possible to give this business a 0 stars I would have.  My father passed away on 20 March.  This business was meant to handle the arrangements.  By 16 April I had still not received a death certificate from the business after leaving numerous messages and speaking to several people. I had to do their work by going to obtain copies to finalize my father's affairs and pay for an additional 3 copies out of pocket.  Also I was assured on 16 April they would mail me the remaining 7 copies.  Guess the news...they STILL HAVE NOT sent the other copies and all I get are excuses!PLEASE do not use this company.  If the stress of losing a family member is not enough, they will only make your life more miserable.
