The food was good, the service was a tad slow and the booth was super uncomfortable. But overall not a bad experience

We had a large party and were seated upstairs to have a private room. 75% of the party had to be there before we could be seated, which is a fine policy, but when there are 14 people coming, that left a good number of us standing in an area that was not meant to be a waiting area. Its very tight and theres no seating and the only place to stand is between the door and the check in stand. The food was good. The service was friendly. We enjoyed the dinner very much. Parking: Street parking in a relatively busy area.

There on vacation and delighted to find a restaurant in downtown New Bern with a wonderful ambiance and full of families and acceptable prices. Historic area. Semi Romantic atmosphere. Family friendly and all the kiddos were well behaved. Everyone on their best behavior. Interesting menu with American favs as-well-as a few eccentric options. Really a wonderful array of options but not overwhelming. Good food. I suggest the shrimp grits with sausage. I couldn't eat the sausage - fragile tummy. But, everyone else consumed them quite easily. Others took advantage of the steak and one of the salad with salmon added. Everyone ate quietly for a bit giving the impression that all were enjoying their choices. The service was professional with a good shot of fun. There when we needed them and not at the right times. We didn't have room for dessert. Pooh!
