        Biased because I worked for Ed when he and Marianne first started this coffee shop. If you are looking for fresh ground coffee served with some really bad but cerebral humor this is the place. This establishment has remained in business when lesser coffee shops have gone out of business or changed hands so many times that figuring out who now owns them becomes a blur. Ed is originally from California but he is now considered a New Bern local he has been here so long this is the place to go if you really want to know the truth about New Bern and what goes on in this town... in a good way! This coffee shop has served as a conduit to every talent that has ever come or gone in New Bern. This is where the locals hang and that should say at all.

        Got a regular coffee and it was so strong I could have made 3 cup out of it. I love coffee I like it black so I get the full taste well it was 3 dollars a cup and I tossed it. Thumbs down sorry
