Yellow Submarine

Had pizza and wings. Delicious all around. Had both bone in and boneless wings. Bone in where a bit better as they had a little crispy to them. Pizzas where great sauce was sweet. Atmosphere of the restaurant was fun and playful within the theme of yellow submarine. Will be going back.

4/2021""The taste I'm sure was good, but had a issue with my order, the 1st sub was right on, tasted great from what I was told, but I ordered a chicken philly, no onions ( allergic ) and added mushrooms, extra fee. We waited , and there was only 2 others inside, so the wait I had hoped would be worth the cost and extra time.. finally sandwiches done, we took the food, got home,( a 25 minute drive away in Mann's Harbor) looked at my sub and was totally disappointed, no mushrooms, which is what I requested and was even printed on my receipt, so they took order correct just didn't pay attention... Where I ordered NO onions there instead was""plenty of onions"".. and that's it... The extra I paid for mushrooms was ""no mushrooms"", no mayo" why?? Not sure they were not busy just I guess didn't care... so I sadly didnt get to eat mine, and though I appreciated, after I called" speaking to the young man who took order" he apologized and the effort was appreciated , I asked to speak to his manager but not available?? The young man kindly said he'd see about a free replacement since I was unable to eat mine, only issue is I have treatments happening that interfere with eating during the week... And I just didn't want to go thru a ordeal where I'm begging for it to be done correctly.. so oh well" and btw" I still tipped 25% if that counts for anything, being a local I always want to support our local businesses.. I guess next time I will definitely check the bag before I leave.. *** July 2023" just a heads up, been back several times and food is..excellent, best chicken philly I've ate on the beach, and have been back several times. Thanks to you all, and kudos to the great food and taste.. you have won me over...

Our first time trying and so glad we decided on it. My husband and I ordered Strombolis for delivery. Expected arrival was an hour from order time but we were pleasantly surprised when the delivery guy arrived 30 minutes earlyof course it is winter and the off season. Each Stromboli was about 6 to 7 long and maybe 4 at widest section, accompanied by two cups of marinara sauce. I ate half of mine as one stromboli could easily serve two people.They were cooked beautifully, the dough was crispy, golden brown on the outside and fluffy inside, the cheese was perfectly melted and the fillings were steaming hot. With tip the price was a little over $40 which we felt was reasonable for a meal made fresh with quality ingredients that could have served four people. We will definitely order on our next trip to Nags Head.
