        Had no luck finding a room with a working television. I was given two rooms and neither one had a working tv . After two nights I checked out .

        Wonderful customer service. I needed to extend my stay another night last minute. Sandy and Summer took great care and worked swiftly to get me situated without having to change rooms, when they were already fully booked. They saved me from having to search for another hotel (there aren't too many hotels let alone IHG around here) at the last minute. Thank you team IGH Murphy! Rooms: Plenty of space, always clean. Food & drinks: Breakfast buffet is fresh and the team is on top of keeping it stocked.

        Worst customer service I've ever experienced. If you can avoid this place, do. First they refused to check me in without me giving them my personal debit/credit card despite the trip being on a company card. The front desk attendant told me that had to have a personal card. She the. Deliberately lied to me telling me it would only put a $5 hold on my card that would drop off at check out. It actually charged me $39 and change. Meanwhile both the attendant and manager were completely rude and disrespectful, telling me to go stay elsewhere if I didn't like the policy, rather than being understanding and polite like 1 would expect in the service and hospitality industry.

Located just 30 minutes from the Tail of the Dragon our location is also perfect for those riding their motorcycle to town.Visit in the Fall and enjoy an array of colors like you have never seen painted across the forest surrounding our hotel. While taking in the changing leaves visit the Fall Festival located at the John C. Campbell Folk School only a short drive from the property. Our location is also perfect for those planning a visit to the new Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino. After a long day of fun and games you can retire to our hotel where all the sounds of town fade away. Our non-smoking hotel has many amenities such as free hot buffet breakfast, free Wi-Fi, indoor heated pool & Fitness Center.
