They charged 4-5 per key which doesn't work.

Very good experience at this location as well. Took me about 5 minutes to make 2 copies. First one costs you 4.9 and then you get the second one at 1.49.

I made a backup house key and it doesn't work well. I checked it for metal fragments, and finding none, I just kept trying to use it, in three doors. I finally got it to work by pushing it all the way in, then backing it out about a half millimeter, and now it works about 50% of the time. It seems to me the machining needs to be calibrated. The key was a standard house key, no frills. It may get better with time. Dunno. I am going to use it, as my primary key, while keeping my original key with me, as backup, until I can trust the new key.
