We love the people in our neighborhood unfortunately LGI has pulled bait and switch on a lot of us. The large resort style pool we were sold is now a community pool that won’t hold more than 16 people. When the majority of these 207 expected homes have 5 bedrooms...do the math. It’s unfortunate, the pool sold us. Big let down!

Fabulous initial experience! Stephanie walked us through the whole process of starting the build and it was a breeze! UPDATE: 1 month after moving in- We do love our house, it is beautiful! We were disappointed that our closing date got pushed back several times and that we basically got a one weeks notice to move (thank goodness we sold our old house with Opendoor!). There are things that we want to have fixed or redone, but so far it seems pretty consistent with a new construction home. Pretty sure we will need to get a bigger heat pump at some.point, as it is just barely the "right" size for our home- and it really struggles to keep the house cool on these 100° days I will say that their painting contractor is awful, lol. My kids could have done a better job, lol! Even with our issues, we are happy with our decision to purchase our home. Just not sure If we would go with LGI again.

The worst company I have ever had to deal with. They claim integrity and honesty but do not mean it by any means. They may say they build quality homes but that’s the biggest lie. They can never give you a straight answer and no one knows what is going on. Our closing date was moved 5 times and ended up being 11 weeks later than we were originally told when we signed papers for our house. That should’ve been sign one to run. The weekly updates are useless as they lie about what has been completed on your home and cannot answer basic questions you have. Forget calling and asking about a question as they won’t know the answer. Your sales person only gets updates once a week so that’s the only time they can tell you anything during the building process. We had to bring issue to their attention as they had all means of leaving a bowed wall in our home as someone didn’t put the pipes in correctly. Your blue walk through shouldn’t even happen because they won’t fix everything and then you have to call daily to get them back out to repair things that would take 10 minutes. We’re still waiting for simple repairs that I could do myself but it the principle behind it. They’ll never put anything in writing unless it benefits them and they’re always going to answer your questions as vaguely possible. We’re still waiting on our community amenities that we’re promised and have yet to be started. We were in our home 4 days before our toilet poured water all over our floor because someone they hired shoved a water bottle and towels down our drain line, we were not the first home that this happened to either so clearly poor workmanship is their speciality. It took over a month to have repairs completed from the toilet incident and they had to do some repairs several times as they did them incorrectly. We’re still waiting repairs from our walkthrough that should’ve been complete way before now. They drag things out in hopes you will forget what you want fixed. Run far far away from LGI.

LGI lied to us from day 1. From the size of the AC unit, to the community ammenities, they only told us what we wanted to hear in order to make a sale. Most new neighborhoods give you some sort of a sales packet with details on everything you're getting with your new home. Not at LGI. Pay attention and you will start to notice that NOTHING is in writing. That's because they'll tell you whatever you want to hear in order to get you under contract. We were told up until 1 week before our closing that our home would be ready on time. Meanwhile, we closed on our current home and prepared to move. 3 days before closing, the date was pushed out. This happened multiple times and we could not get a straight answer on when our home would be ready. We finally closed 3 weeks after we were promised. We have now been in our home for close to 8 months and have had the following issues: a broken roof truss, entire light fixtures were not installed and covered in drywall, lights falling out of the ceiling, stairs pulling away from the wall with a noticeable gab, stone siding falling off the house, cabinet doors falling off, flooring is bubbling up and coming loose, the driveway is cracking, multiple nail pops throughout. To top it off, all of the original punch list items from move in have not yet been corrected. The painters that came to touch up the paint used the wrong color paint! The list goes on... On top of everything else, they are selling large tracts of homes as rentals, which is not allowed per the HOA. Since LGI has control of the HOA as well, they are getting away with it. A home is one of the biggest purchases you will ever make, and it's a shame that this company only cares about the bottom line. They do not care about you, or the quality of the home they are building. If I had to do it all over again, I would take my money elsewhere.

I do not recommend this builder to anyone. They do not care about their customer service nor do they care about their customers. They are trying to finish the construction so they can move on to their next project and lie to those buyers. They lied to us and the rest of the community just to make the sale and close it out. The contractors they have hired to shotty work and then to not want to make good on warranty claims. If you decide to go business with them, I hope you have a better experience than we have and most of our neighbors. Also, I would take some advice from our play book and record every conversation you have with them. They is how we have called them on their lies and then, and only then did they decide to attempt to make good on the product they have built. They also build strictly for rental companies in your community as they have in ours. Good luck and God speed with your experience. Services: Interior decorating, Design, Drywall repair, Tile fitters
