Spacious Skies Campgrounds - Hidden Creek

We stayed Halloween weekend and loved the campground. A lot of activities for the children. We didn't use the bath house so cannot comment on that but the campground looked clean and we enjoyed our stay. Rooms : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Location : 5/5 More

We had a great weekend at SSC at Hidden Creek. We were hesitant to book based on some past negative reviews but decided to take a chance upon hearing that Spacious Skies had bought the property. We are so glad we did! The reason for an imperfect score is that the property needs some updates. Sites and roads are not paved and dusty, and some of the facilities look dated. Those are the only negatives we experienced. The staff was super helpful. When we checked in and requested to change sites, they immediately took care of us. We asked them about the future plans for the property, and their answers were very exciting! They will no longer take annual leases. They are refurbing the facilities including the water slide. They will be paving the roads. The campground had lots of activities and amenities especially for children. If you want to be close to the action try to book near the bottom of the property. We did not have young children with us and really enjoyed the top loop where the views were amazing. This campground is close to so many things to do in the area. We enjoyed some waterfall hikes and wineries. We will definitely be back!

Not great to work with. Had a reservation for two nights, and had two sick children that morning. Decided to cancel. Call to cancel, and was told that there was a no refund cancellation policy within 72 hours. Unfortunate, but that was what was in the policy, so I couldn't argue. Then, decided that since I had the site, I would go ahead and use it at least for one night. Called back to get the site back, and was told that there was nothing they could do, it was canceled, and if I wanted it again I would have to rebook at full price. So at this point I just donated $140. I'm sure it's a nice campground or whatever, but this is a horrible policy. I won't ever consider it again. Please be wary.
