Main Street Produce

Like a mash-up of local farmers mkt & Whole Foods: fresh baked breads&goodies (inquire about the best day of the wk to get your particular pastry, as the lady making the tasty treats is 'team' of 1 chef), seasonal produce, as well as a nice little assortment of wines & gourmet(ish) items on the shelves or freezer case that you can't find at any chain grocery store near Lake Gaston. There's even smoked salmon (& sometimes a homemade soup or 2) pkgd in the refrigerated case. Definitely worth a look, even if its during 'off hrs' because a guy who works there often keeps it open.

Great pies and friendly service. What more could you ask? Usually they can get a pie made up exactly how you want it (crust, topping etc ) by the next day and one time they even made two pies because they weren't sure whether I wanted graham cracker crust or regular crust..so they made both just in case! Who else does that? Nobody else around here, that's for sure :)

A little of everything - fresh local produce, amazing homemade jams/salsas, delicious homemade desserts, wine, exotic meat (I bought some alligator) & much more. Great prices & very friendly owner
