Lake Gaston Jet Ski Is absolutely wonderful. They've helped us sell a boat and maintain 3 boats and a jet ski. Every time, they've been incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Kenny and his team have gone above and beyond to tackle each project in the most professional way possible. I'm super excited that they just became a Sanger dealer too! They've already helped us with a few projects on our Sanger v215 SX, which is an AMAZING boat. I can't recommend them enough.

I had them work on my utility vehicle to help me get it run. They replaced the starter, voltage regulater and towed it back and forth froom my house to the dealership. They charged me $1100. It worked for one day with a new battery i bought ad then wouldnt turn over. I called them back and they said I needed to replace the solenoid. It wouldve cost me another father dollars to ship it back and forth and get them to fix it. They wouldnt come out and do it. So now Im stuck with an $1100 debt and a non working utility vehicle. They were not willing to work with me replace the solenoid without charging me again to transport the utility vehicle.

Rented pontoon for four days June 2021. Staff was friendly and informative at check-in but boat had seen better days - torn seats, broken bimini top, speedometer didnt work, sharp edges aft deck near boarding ladder, cross-threaded fuel cap, seats not attached, etc. Served our purposes but the condition of the boat was disappointing. My real complaint came when we returned the boat and were told that the motor was damaged and that our $500 deposit would not be returned until their mechanic had a chance to look at it a couple days later (their jet ski mechanic said it looked like a bent prop shaft). This was a shock to me as I didnt have any issues with the motor the four days I drove it and the employee who drove the boat back to the dock did NOT mention any issues. Before leaving I decided to take some photos/videos of the prop and motor in case the company decided to keep my deposit. Thankfully the company called me a couple hours later to tell me that my deposit would be refunded (apparently it was an issue with the motor prior to me renting). I didnt plan on posting a review but read that another customer had a similar situation the following week. Sure feels like a local company trying to scam an out-of-state visitors. Renters beware.

Lake Gaston Jet Ski & Powersports is one of the friendliest businesses at Lake Gaston. Within a small community like our lake, we take pride in our small business and their employees. The employees are great and can answer just about every question with ease. They have a great rental program, even through the struggles with the pandemic and keeping the fleet up to par, they go out of their way to cater to any customer and their needs. Talented mechanics, educated managers, and overall great staff.
