Watch out folks! If you ask for a discount you will be accused of being a thief! My family was a customer of A+ Wireless since the business was called Davidson Communications back in the early 1990’s. We had always been treated with respect and had always been given a great deal on phones until recently. On December 6, 2014 my father and I spoke with Sales Associate Mandi Britt who we have dealt with in the past. Long story short, we had to be somewhere and before I left I asked Mandi if we come back later on in the month would she give us a discount off of the price listed on the phones. She said yes and I asked when she was working because I wanted to continue to deal with her. On the next Saturday (December 13, 2014) my father, wife and I returned to pick out our new phones. When I mentioned the discount to Mandi that we had talked about the previous Saturday she acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about. When I tried to refresh her memory about our previous conversation she went ballistic and accused me of “stealing from her employer.” She then backed up against the wall, folded her arms, and pouted like a child telling us to “please leave or I am calling the police.” I then asked for her to contact the manager (Mike) and she refused. She refused to give me his number when I asked for it. She was like a broken record saying “please leave or I am calling the police.” It was embarrassing to me and my family because customers walked in during Mandi’s temper tantrum that had no clue what was going on. I also found out later, from another Verizon Retailer, that the phone Mandi was trying to sale me was a discontinued phone!
