Shaire Center Inc

Do not allow your loved one to go to the Shaire Center. Their negligence and lack of preparedness allowed my 87 year old Mother to contract Covid-19. Horrible lack of communication- there are a few great people there like Maureen- but the owners have been hidden from view. Please take my advice and look for an alternative to the Shaire Center. I love working as a nurse at Shaire Center! I am treated very well. My owner and DON value my opinion and appreciate my hard work. All care provided is a collaboration of care from beginning to end. Nurses communicate with every discipline as well as family. Our administrative team pave the road for us and keep us on task. Our therapy services are excellent and evaluate promptly.! Every residents are treated with dignity and respect. Our providers address needs ASAP. I work in a facility where I am safe. I work in a family business where I am treated like family and loved like one! I am very blessed to work in an environment where we have PLENTY of staff! I have wonderful dietary staff who greet me with a smile no matter how many things I ask for. Our housekeeping work relentlessly to keep our facility clean! I have worked here off and on for 20 years and continue to love the family environment. Although I know I am not perfect I strive to be the best I can be every day. Life has given me many opportunities to obtain experience as a nurse but God always leads me back to Shaire Center. I am grateful and thank God to have a job where I can love what I do!

We thought this was going to be the best place for my mom to receive rehab but we were wrong. She had her cloths stolen, her blanket stolen, her jewelry stolen, her roomed searched everyday for unknown reasons and other patients underwear placed in her drawer. Some of the staff were not nice to the paitents. The therapy was not useful for her recovery and they sent her home in a wheelchair still unable to walk. I did discuss all concerns with owner with no recourse. Nothing was paid for that was stolen and no apology was ever offered. I hope if you send your love one there you have someone with them all day and night to assist them. The only blessing out of the entire stay was one nurse name Faye. She is the most understanding and loving person there. My family understands this is a business, but people were there not because they wanted to be, but because they had to be. This was the most stressful time for my mom. I would not recommended this place.
