Purchased a home from out of state and hired A-1 to clean the carpets before arrival. Upon arrival, one room was left vacant for later use. Since moving we re-carpeted the living area and hallway. The vacant room was purposed and in just a week we begin to notice our new white carpet in the hall turning black around the entryway to the once vacant room.
Skeptical, I took a white cloth and rubbed the carpet in this room. It turned black immediately. I took another cloth and tried the closet where nothing had been placed yet and it also turned black. It appears this room was not cleaned at all as there is no possible way for it to have gathered so much dirt since the "cleaning".
We were charged $350 and wanted to forewarn others. I now wonder if any of the carpet was cleaned as the carpet cleaner had access before we arrived and without supervision.

My family have been using A1 carpet cleaning in Nags Head for years. They have always been prompt, flexible and have done a fantastic job. Recommend them highly.
