3 stars at best, and only because they were accommodating towards my ESA and the leasing staff is welcoming. If you work from home this complex is just a no, Ive had to beg my way out of being terminated from my job twice now due to the internet issue and its gone out seven times now since me moving in mid April. I also experienced a maintenance emergency, I was unable to use my one and only bathroom for almost 24 HOURS before someone came to fix the issue, they had to call in someone from a different complex to come fix it after submitting 3 emergent maintenance requests online, speaking to a leasing agent in person to report it and several phone calls! Oh and the maintenance main that came to fix the issue damaged the toilet which Im sure will be a reason I dont get my deposit back along with all the horrible repairs construction and or maintenance mustve done prior to finishing the complex to get residents in that again, Im sure Ill be blamed for (I.e covering scrapes, dents, and holes with spackle and paint especially on the doors and door frames, damaged cabinets where you can see they struggled to install the appliances and damage to the walls where they squeezed in the washer/dryer unit). Some of the neighbors have no respect blasting music all hours of the day and night (if you suffer from migraines, work night shift or have small children etc take this into consideration). I was planning to switch to a larger unit in the new building in the back but due to the fact alone that Union county police have been dispatched back there 4 times that Ive seen with MULTIPLE units showing up (6 this afternoon), I think Ill hold off and deal with my neighbors music instead of whatever they have going on back there. Also, if youd like to park somewhat close to your apartment building good luck, youll have to be home prior to 5 PM for that to happen. Theres entirely too many units and not enough parking (except in the back which Im sure will fill up as the units do). The leasing agents are friendly, personable, welcoming and work fast to get your lease signed which is always a plus, I just wish it outweighed the long list of cons.

And again, we've experienced an outage. The internet seems to have recovered, but now it's practically unusable. My videos are laggy and my voice is robotic for my calls. I've been forced to use my cellular data, even though I'm paying for this internet. ------------ Many of us are absolutely fed up with the way they have handled this situation. Time after time, we have issues with the internet and they do nothing or give us lip service. Please be more responsive to your tenants and deal with these outages quickly. We've experienced outages that last half a day or more!

Elan is almost a great apartment but has a glaring issue. Internet outages have been a weekly occurrence and you should not take your chances or trust the reviews from people who have only toured the apartments. If this doesn't sway you, here are the internet outages so far since I've moved in February.. March 18: 7pm to 8am April 1: 3pm to 8am April 10: 4:20pm to 8am April 22: 2 hour outage May 8: 10pm to 12pm May 30: 2pm to 1am June 7: 4:30pm to 6am June 8: 10:30am to 2pm June 28: 11:30am to 1:30pm *(If you're reading this review, the issues have not been resolved as I will update this IF the time comes)

The internet outage just happened again within 24 hours. Last Tuesday, yesterday 4:30PM, and this morning 10AM, I was on conference presenting my work and it was down all of sudden. I hate to tell my boss and team that I am offline because of internet, Im actually paying the most expensive internet as far as I know. If you WFH, try research a better place. DONT TAKE RISK OF LOSING YOUR JOB. YOU GONNA BE MAD AT THE POOR INTERNET. Some update on 6/28/2023, I hate to mention that the internet outage unfortunately happened again, the backup internet seems working, but the speed is only 20 mbps. A lot of tenants have reported their working from home mode and urgent need of stable internet service, but seems Elan does not care. The management office is buying us cheap backup service, which is ridiculously slower than Starbucks internet. Cant imagine 100+ units are sharing 1 line when the primary is down.
