It was a hard decision to move my Mom into a retirement community. One thing that took away the stress was having Transition Tamers take care of the move. Transition Tamers took care of every detail involving the move so I could focus on my Mom. They were always on time, very friendly to communicate with, knowledgeable about how to pack and move, and were just wonderful in every way. I could not have asked for a better group of people to work with during a really stressful time for me. Simply put - Transition Tamers are the best!!

My wife and I decided to sell our home and move to an apartment. After living in houses for over 40 years, we collected a lot of stuff that would never fit into an apartment. We thought we could take a couple of months to throw out a ton of stuff and get the house ready to sell. We got lucky and received a good offer before the house was ready to be listed. The buyer wanted a quick sale. And we got some good incentives to take the apartment within a month. As a result of this good fortune, we had 1 day to get the house ready to show the prospective buyer and 1 month clear out the house and move. I believed this was impossible. Then we found Transition Tamers through a friend’s recommendation. A 3-person crew got the house ready to show in 3 hours! It looked beautiful and everything was in place. The buyer loved the house and we committed to get out in a month (I was still convinced this was impossible). Transition Tamers came to the rescue again. They worked with us to (1) plan the apartment’s layout, using as much of our existing furniture as possible, (2) decide what to give to family and charity, (3) select items that would sell, (4) pack everything, (5) arrange for the movers, (6) oversee the move and (7) help us unpack and put everything away. We moved with days to spare. Nothing was damaged. It took only a day to unpack. We didn’t have to stay in a hotel till we unpacked. Our blood pressure stayed in the normal range. Transition Tamers accomplished the impossible and made this transition happen practically stress-free. If you’ve ever moved you know the toll it takes on everyone.
