I never write reviews but this company has been amazing to work with! They are great to work with and show up on time. Most importantly, they are trustworthy and stand behind their work- they repaired a refrigerant leak at my home. After the repair, it leaked out again and they came to the house and fixed it again without charging me one cent. Highly recommend this company. Service: A/C system maintenance

Requested Comfortmaster come out in 2022 to service a Carrier HVAC, for which emergency heat had stopped functioning. Tech shows up, talks about how he's carrier certified, used to work at carrier, etc. He then complained about the location of our unit (tight access, smaller techs have it easier working with it). He had difficulty removing the old heat strip. He procured a replacement heat strip, then said he couldn't get it installed, either the wires were too short to reach or else he couldn't reach far enough to connect them (which it was, was unclear). He started pushing to upsell us on replacing the unit entirely. He said he would have to come back later to try to finish the repair, and said that he would provide an estimate for replacement as well. I asked him to take the new heat strip with him, since he was unable to successfully install it (I didn't want to be billed for something that he couldn't install). I also asked him to please invoice us for current efforts, and provide an estimate promptly, as we needed that documentation to submit to our home warranty provider. We never heard from the tech again. Months later, we started receiving bills and phone calls from Comfortmaster, trying to charge us for diagnostics, labor, and replacement heat strip. As far as I'm concerned, the repair was never completed. We spent the winter relying on our upstairs unit's emergency heat + our downstairs fireplace. I recommend staying away from Comfortmaster if you want the job done right, on time, and to be fairly charged for actual services rendered. Since then, I've relied on Dunlow for a variety of repair services. They've been prompt, responsive, and extremely fair in their billing. I highly recommend Dunlow to anyone in the Pitt county area for fair quality HVAC servicing. Service: Heating system repair
