Terrible experience with this company. We were told up front that they did not have the parts to repair our instruments, but were in the process of acquiring what was needed and assured that if we sent our instruments anyway and they would be able to repair them asap. Over the period of 5 weeks any information we wanted, like the status of our repairs, the length of time we would have to wait, etc. was never given without prompting. I was calling to check in every week and always given the run around. After 5 weeks I called to ask for our items to be sent back because we found another company to do the repairs. We were told they were sent (WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION OR NOTIFYING US) to another place. So I called the place they allegedly sent them. I was told that they did not have them. I called back and asked to speak with a supervisor or someone who could tell me where our property was and why it was sent ANYWHERE without our OK. The person in charge never returned my call. It took contacting my local rep who was only involved with us by sending the quote for the repair (that they couldn't do). He was kind enough to provide me with a tracking number. This finally allowed us to track down our instruments which were found at the place we had been using for years that shut down and quit servicing our specific instruments. Their closing is what made us try out Northfield in the first place!! To say that they were unprofessional and incompetent would be an extreme understatement.
