About 11 years ago, I visited this place at least three times each month on Saturdays as I traveled to Goldsboro for school. I would past many other places that served food to get here and eat their hobo sandwich (scrambled eggs and sausage) or their pig in a blanket (country sausage on bread). I visited there recently and had the same thing and it was still good. Yesterday was my first visit I can recall having when I was completely dissatisfied with my service. I don't know if they have a new person or if I just didn't know how they do things. I ordered their platter with scrambled eggs with cheese, sausage, grits, and hash browns. They fixed it in a reasonable time and I was happy until I got in my vehicle and opened it to begin to eat. That's when I noticed that I had fried eggs instead of scrambled eggs. I carried the plate back to the window and explained the mix-up and showed them my food. The lady said it was no mix-up, I had scrambled eggs on my plate and she put cheese in it. I told her it was fried eggs and not scrambled. She explained that she had scrambled the eggs together before she fried them. Her response shocked me and she must have observed my facial expression because she went on to ask me if I wanted them cut up. I did not argue with her nor ask that she cook me more eggs because I don't like getting food redone by an upset cook (if you know what I mean). Therefore, I took my food, told her thanks, and went on my way. This may be their practice and I never knew it, but I've never visited a restaurant from Canada to Florida and from Ocracoke to Nevada and ordered scrambled eggs and had this response. Waiters and waitresses ask you how you want your eggs, boiled, fried, scrambled, sunny side up/down, etc. But scrambled is always cooked somewhat fluffy. My plate consisted of some fried eggs folded over with a slice of cheese in the middle. I've attached a photo so you be the judge for yourself. I took it personal that the lady was attempting to insult my intelligence, but giving them the benefit of the doubt, maybe that is how they do things there. Either way, you need to know this when you place your order to prevent any disappointments.

Just called 3 times to place an order for breakfast, no answer. You need to have enough help to answer your phone, had to call Berkeley Grill to get my breakfast. To the owner, I tried to write another review, but couldn't. I didn't realize you were closed on Tuesday, so I apologize. I hate I missed your breakfast, you have good food. Merry Christmas...
