We hired Juan to fix some exterior wood rot and paint our small house and trim. He seemed knowledgeable, but his crew that did the work was terrible. We terminated the contract after 45 days, as we were told the work would take 2 weeks. They didn't sand or scrape anything, they used interior paint on the exterior, didn't come back for weeks claiming rain or pollen. I could deal with the delays, but the quality of the work was terrible. I will try to recoup my costs in court. Beware of a contractor that wants money up front for supplies and weekly payments for his "crew". I should have known better. A reputable contractor wouldn't require payment until the job is done and the customer is satisfied. Buyer beware.
