I wanted a custom designed theatre room for a medium size space. I shopped around with several other companies and ultimately deciced to go with Creative Wiring and here's why. Steve gave me a couple of different options to work with so helped me find a quality system within my budget. I am not up to speed on the latest gear and Steve answered all of my questions so I felt comfortable with his recommendations. The final product is spectacular to say the least. The surround sound is unbelievable. I feel like I am in a movie theatre or at a football game. In addition to the theatre room, I went with an antenna to capture local programming ( I stream) so no more fuzzy local programming and of course, this is free tv. He also cleaned up my modem closet. My home is hard wired with cat 6 but wires were everywhere in my closet before he bundled everything. I also believe in shopping local and he is a local businessman. He has been in business for several years so I know that when I call with any questions (none so far), he will be the one answering the phone and not someone at a large big box business who know's nothing about my system. I highly recommend using Creative Wiring Solutions.

Creative Wiring did an awesome job on my home theater and they also mounted two TV's and cleaned up the patch panel in my house.  Steve was very responsive and helped me pick the right equipment for my room.  I went with in-wall Klipsch speakers and 106" screen.  The sound and picture are amazing.  I would have no trouble using Steve again.  He's very knowledgeable and the rates are very reasonable.

I recommend them to any of my friends that are doing any audiovisual improvements to their home or business. They seemlessly turned my home into a smart home enabling me to control any room with my smart phone. I shopped all around and found their price for what I got to be far better than any other competitor. Make sure that when checking other competitors pricing you compare an apples to apples system. My one neighbor found one for a couple of bucks cheaper but the entire set up was clumsy and difficult to use so he ended up having to hire Creative Wiring to come in and clean up his deal from another company. Just do it right the first time!

I'd agree with Josie, if you are thinking installing a home theater, home security system, sound system or intercom system, I can't recommend Creative Wiring Solutions.  While doing a home remodel Steve was there to bid the project and collect a substantial up-front check for the hardware. And after a few missed appointments he even showed up and did about 90% of the work. Of course, he collected a check for the balance and promised to be back with the few final items to complete the job leaving somewhat of a hot tangled cable mess hanging in the closet. And after six months and a dozen missed appointments (and family matters and illnesses and every other excuse imaginable) it still all hangs there in the closet waiting for completion.As Josie said, Steve will be there for the initial install and to collect your check but is horrible for service issues.  They seldom answer their phone, and if you are lucky enough to get them to commit to an "appointment", be prepared for them not to show up.Follow up Report:After writing this negative review and receiving a call from Steve's wife (business manager for Creative Wiring Solutions) he promptly set an appointment to finish the work he started. He actually showed up on-time for the appointment he set and completed the work well. Steve is a kind guy with strong attention to detail in his work. After this experience, I realized it was not his carelessness that dragged a simple job into a 6 month mess, but his massively in-demand services. He's completely over-scheduled and overextended without help.At the end of the day, I appreciate Steve's willingness to take responsibility for what happened and his desire to make it right. However, I don't think that writing a negative Yelp review to precipitate a response should have been required. Hated doing it, but at least my house is done now and I'm glad to post an updated review.
