Dont move into 313 ray st unless they prove they fixed the floors and changed the carpet. Or youll be getting soft floors and fiberglass carpet. Which they seem to think is okay for a baby to crawl on. A tree fell on that house and broke the roof. The contractors came by and fixed the roof but in the process dumped all the fiberglass directly onto the carpet and the housing office didnt want to fix till they got iced. And still didnt fix. They put plastic on the floor till we moved out. So be warned, the type of fix youll be dealing with for on base housing and the way that house was before I left.

The casablanca neighborhood itself has been proven unsafe countless of times. Not by just myself but others as well in the neighborhood. Break ins are common and when asked to move or to try and get into a different development your told there is a slim to none chance and you are going to have to deal with the unsafe neighborhood. The only thing they will state about the unsafe neighborhood, the break ins, the floors caving in from under you as well as decks, doors, and other things that are falling apart is that they will bring it up with their "monthly meetings" . If you are PCSing and have been giving housing here, your better off finding somewhere off post for security alone. Yes there are pros such as being close to schools, on post luxuries, and other amenities, but as far as safety goes for you and your family it's the last thing that is taken into consideration.
