Casey Ferguson was our realtor. She is the best! She helped my boyfriend and I buy our first home. Casey took the time to walk us through each step. Her thoroughness and attention to detail made the whole process stress free. She is always prompt and very responsive to any inquiries. Casey is very resourceful and helped with all of the aspects of purchasing my home from recommending a great closing attorney, lender and homowner insurance providers. Made and offer to purchase on their listing at 307 E 5th St. Burlington NC 27215 back in 2019. Realtor drove around with our $11,000 check without giving it to the seller for 3 days. First red flag. We took the possession of the property and then found out that the home was completely remodeled without permits or inspections. All workers are non licensed, bonded or insured by the state of NC. Second red flag. Hired an attorney and have been battling the issue for 22 months and continuing since theyve managed to throw our family out. They are scamming innocent people. The property is back on the market as of 8/20/21 for $298,00. Please beware. Do your research on the property. The seller: Jose Gilberto Argueta is a known scam artist. Look him up in TX, FL, SC and El Salvador. Property is not insurable as its not up to building code. Contact the city of Burlington inspectors before making an offer. Youll thank me one day. As God is my witness I will not stop fighting this until all illegal parties involved and scammers are in prison. Seller and his best friend/listing agent Otto Cedeno never disclosed previous kitchen electrical fire, mold and leak in the HVAC, leaky plumbing and roof, improperly labeled electric panels, old wiring, load bearing walls being taken out without an engineer, displaced basement walls, massive tree stump in the basement, clog in the main sewer line and the list goes on. The agency is aware of the issues, and yet blames the buyers! The buyer did the research and the seller admitted to all of this during the trial! I pray for the new potential buyers that are scheduled to close on 10/31/21!
