I asked Tilson Outdoors to build a wall along my driveway against a hill. The quality of the wall was terrific. More important was the work done in the hill, itself, to make the hidden structures that will make sure the hill does not move the wall. That was the quality I wanted.
Because of that I asked Tilson to work on 2 more projects, building a border along the front yard between the lawn and shrubbery as well as solve my erosion on the other side of my house. The border stone was chosen from various options. It changed the front yard's appearance and dealt with some of the peculiarities.
The erosion issue was attacked with subterranean pieces that consume the rain flow from the downspouts and surface water. It was a big project which will allow the land to have plants and look great instead like some wasteland.
Finally, the transparency of Tilson's communication, effort to understand my concerns and to clearly help me understand the steps and goals provided me with confidence that I was getting well-served. I highly recommend Tilson.

We absolutely love our beautiful outdoor living area. Working with Richard and Caleb Tilson was honestly a joy. We went from never hanging out in our backyard to becoming outdoor people!! This has been such a blessing.

Caleb and his dad installed yard drainage to help get rid of the massive amount of water that flowed through. They did a great job and are very easy to work with. I highly recommend these guys! I will be having them back out to do the next project I have when I am ready. Thank you for the great job!

Tilson has landscaped and hardscaped our back yard including creating new raised beds, adding plants and required drip irrigation, building two stone walls, laying gravel pathways and finally, coming up with an effective solution to a water drainage problem and taking care of it with a French drain.
In our experience, they have applied themselves to each project, committed to excellent workmanship and thinking through every aspect, in several cases suggesting and implementing thoughtful improvements not in the original plan.
We really appreciate their excellent workmanship even more so as the plants grow and walls stand firm despite torrential rains, snow and the blazing summer sun. Every time we look at our garden, we realize how fortunate we are that we chose the Tilsons to handle the projects.
